How bittersweet to be able to look at memories from last year. Our New York trips was literally a year ago, and although I can’t seem to remember everything down to the last detail from our first couple of days in the City, I do know that this was the trip that made me fall in LOVE with New York. A city that I once only dreamt of ever visiting. Looking back at the photos as I was editing this post was the best treat. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you enjoy our New York adventures from last year ( 2017 )
New York at Night Time is a true Vision… I’m so glad that even though we were SO tired from our flight, we made the time to see the city at night time on the first day. I couldn’t help myself from trying to capture all that I was looking at with my camera… Of course since I was on the move, some of the first photos I took were all blurry, but this one came out perfect in my opinion. The building to the right is the The Chrysler building. From this angle, it looks as if it is almost touching the exterior of Grand Central Station ( Building to the Left ). All I can say is WOW! I can’t wait to go back.
New York, I Lo
Wishing I could’ve seen the Radio City Rockettes!
And I did not mind the New York cold weather not one bit! I felt right at home. Coming from a Houstonian that must sound crazy! But really, I could not get enough of the grey skies and cold weather.
Let me tell you about that little meal up there ^ It was truly one of the most satisfying meals I had while in New York. Those steak fries were out of this world delicious. Although they may look like ordinary wings, the flavor and textures of the wings were here were so different than what you might be used to. We ordered a bit light since we wanted to just enjoy a light meal and the environment ( and I admit that I was a bit intimidated by such a unique menu ) but trust me, when I come back, I will make sure I order out of my comfort zone. The menu is just out of this world! Did you know that the restaurant has come out with their very own cookbook? I may just have to buy it in the meantime.
